On Saturday, May 2, 2026 at 12:21AM, Troopers out of the Hope Valley Barracks arrested Arya Sebastian Mercado, age 21, of 10 Hepburn Street, West Warwick, Rhode Island on an Affidavit and Arrest Warrant for Vandalism out of the West Warwick Police Department. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Centerville Road in the Town of West Warwick. Mercado was transported to the State Police – Hope Valley Barracks for processing before being turned over to West Warwick Police Department.
