At 8:18 AM, Troopers arrested Tyler Mclewin, Age 30 of 948 Charles Street, Apartment 2, North Providence, Rhode Island, on an active Providence Superior Court Bench Warrant for failure to appear for arraignment on the original charge of Domestic Violence originating out of the Cranston Police Department. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle accident on Route 95, in the City of Providence. Mclewin was transported to the Lincoln Barracks where he was processed and transported to Providence Superior Court.
At 11:40 PM, Troopers arrested Franklin Johnson, Age 40, of 2072 Smith Street, Apartment 701, North Providence, Rhode Island, for 1.) Driving Under the Influence of Liquor – BAC Unknown – First Offense, and 2.) Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test – First Offense. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Thurbers Avenue in the City of Providence. Johnson was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks, where he was processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, and transported to the ACI Men's intake center where he will be held as a bail violator pending arraignment in Sixth Division District Court.
