At 8:38 PM, Troopers arrested Dewon Northup, age 30, of 130 Wendell Street, Providence, Rhode Island, for 1.) Domestic – Violation of No Contact Order – First Offense; and 2.) Driving After Suspension of License – Fourth or Subsequent Offense. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 6, in the City of Providence. Northup was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks, where he was processed, and held pending arraignment at Sixth Division District Court, where he will be presented as a bail/probation violator.
