At 11:48 PM, Troopers arrested James Anderson, age 42, of 19 Homestead Avenue, Cranston, Rhode Island, on an Affidavit and Arrest Warrant out of the Providence Police Department for a Violation of a No-Contact Order – Domestic Simple Assault. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 295 North in the Town of Johnston. Anderson was transported to State Police – Headquarters where he was processed and later transported to the Providence Police Department.
