On Friday, May 15, 2026, at 1:19 AM, Troopers arrested Donald Thigpen, age 48, of 717 Atlantic Street, Stamford, Connecticut for Reckless Driving – Eluding Law Enforcement in High-Speed Pursuit – First Offense. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle pursuit and subsequent motor vehicle stop on Route 95, in the Town of Hopkinton. The subject was transported to the State Police - Hope Valley Barracks, processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace and released with a future Fourth Division District Court date.
On Friday, May 15, 2026, at 1:34 AM, Troopers arrested Brian Morris, age 39, of 4319 Hovis Road, Charlotte, North Carolina for Possession of a Schedule I-V Controlled Substance Less Than 10 Grams (Psilocybin Mushrooms). The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Nooseneck Hill Road, in the Town of West Greenwich. The subject was transported to the State Police - Hope Valley Barracks, processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace and released with a future Third Division District Court date.
