At 9:01 PM, Troopers arrested Shayna Viens, age 36, of 71 Cross Street, Apartment 3, Woonsocket, Rhode Island for 1.) Possession of a Schedule I to V Controlled Substance – 10 Grams or Less (cocaine) and 2.) Obstruction. This arrest was the result of a barracks investigation and the North Smithfield Police Department locating the subject. The subject was transported to State Police – Headquarters, where she was processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace and released with a future Sixth Division District court date.
