At 1:19 AM, Troopers arrested Esvin Veliz, age 32, of 102 Silver Lake Avenue, Apartment 1, Providence, Rhode Island for 1.) Driving Under the Influence of Liquor – BAC Unknown – First Offense, and 2.) Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test – First Offense. This arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 6 in the City of Providence. The subject was transported to the State Police – Lincoln Woods Barracks, where he was processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, and released with a future Sixth Division District Court date.
At 2:55 AM, Troopers arrested Andry Gonzalez-Vina, age 36, of 78 Henry Street, Apt. 2, Passaic, New Jersey, as a Fugitive from Justice on the charges of Unlawful Possession of a Handgun Without a Permit, Possession of a Weapon for Unlawful Purpose, and Aggravated Assault out of the Passaic County Sheriff's Office, New Jersey. This arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Delaine Street, in the City of Providence. The subject was transported to State Police Headquarters, where he was processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, and later turned over to the Adult Correctional Institution – Men's Intake Center.
