At 2:18 PM, Troopers arrested Jorge Paz, age 28, of 85 Newton Street, Apartment #1, Pawtucket, Rhode Island, for a Sixth Division District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Pretrial Conference on the original charge of Domestic Violence – Simple Assault, originating out of the Pawtucket Police Department. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Belmont Street in the City of Pawtucket. Paz was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks, where he was processed and later turned over to the Adult Correctional Institution – Men's Intake Service Center.
At 3:31 PM, Troopers arrested Celibeth Mercedes Minaya, age 18, of 53 Clym Street, Apartment #2, Providence, Rhode Island, for 1.) Duty to Stop for an Accident Resulting in Damage to a Vehicle. This arrest was the result of Troopers responding to a hit-and-run motor vehicle accident and subsequent investigation. Mercedes Minaya turned herself in at the Lincoln Woods Barracks, where she was processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, and released with a notice to appear in Sixth Division District Court.
At 10:23 PM, Troopers arrested Jose L. Cac Castro, age 42, of 81 Waverly Street, Apartment 2, Providence, Rhode Island for 1.) Driving Under the Influence of Liquor - BAC Unknown – First Offense; and 2.) Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test – First Offense. The arrest was the result of an investigation into a motor vehicle crash on Union Avenue, in the City of Providence. Cac Castro was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks where he was processed, arraigned by the Justice of the Peace, and released with a notice to appear in Sixth Division District Court.
At 2:09 AM, Troopers arrested Victor M. Santos Corales, age 50, of 67 Ruggles Street, Providence, Rhode Island for 1.) Driving Under the Influence of Liquor – BAC Unknown – First Offense and 2.) Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test – First Offense. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Camden Avenue, in the City of Providence. Santos Corales was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks where he was processed, arraigned by the Justice of the Peace, and released with a notice to appear in Sixth Division District Court.
