On Tuesday, May 26, 2026, at 8:30 AM, Troopers arrested Tina Ogbeide, age 41, of 125 Holden Street, Providence, Rhode Island, for Simple Assault and/or Battery. This arrest was the result of Troopers responding to the report of an assault at the Sixth Division District Court. Ogbeide was arraigned and released pending a future date at the Sixth Division District Court.
On Tuesday, May 26, 2026, at 3:53 PM, Troopers arrested Janese Harrison, age 42, of 215 East Street, Pawtucket, Rhode Island, on a Sixth Division District Bench warrant for Failure to Appear for Arraignment on the charge of Shoplifting originating out of the Pawtucket Police Department. This arrest was the result of a motor vehicle crash investigation on Route 95, in the City of Pawtucket. Harrison was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks and then turned over to the Adult Correctional Institution Women's Intake Center.
On Tuesday, May 26, 2026, at 4:30 PM, Troopers arrested Anthony Desjardin, age 22, of 344 Grove Street, Woonsocket, Rhode Island, for 1.) Forgery and Counterfeiting, 2.) Passing of Counterfeit Certificates, Bills, or Notes, 3.) Obtaining Property by False Pretenses > $10,000, and 4.) Conspiracy. This arrest was a result of a barracks investigation and Desjardin surrendering himself into the Lincoln Woods Barracks. Desjardin was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks, arraigned and released pending a future date at the Sixth Division District Court.
On Tuesday, May 26, 2026, at 6:36 PM, Troopers arrested Carlos Lopes, age 34, of 171 Hillcrest Avenue, Providence, Rhode Island, for 1.) Obstruction of an Officer in the Execution of Duty, and 2.) Disorderly Conduct. This arrest was the result of an investigation into a disturbance on Main Street, in the City of Pawtucket. Lopes was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks, arraigned and released pending a future date at the Sixth Division District Court.
On Tuesday, May 26, 2026, at 6:36 PM, Troopers arrested Dan Otieno, age 50, of 211 Illinois Street, Central Falls, Rhode Island, for 1.) Obstruction of an Officer in the Execution of Duty, 2.) Disorderly Conduct, and 3.) Resisting Arrest. This arrest was the result of an investigation into a disturbance on Main Street, in the City of Pawtucket. Otieno was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks, arraigned and released pending a future date at the Sixth Division District Court.
On Tuesday, May 26, 2026, at 8:57 PM, Troopers arrested David Smith, age 23, of 40 Belfort Avenue, Warwick, Rhode Island, for 1.) Affidavit and Arrest Warrant on the charges of Domestic Simple Assault, Domestic Disorderly Conduct, Reckless Driving and Operating with a Suspended License - Fourth or Subsequent Offense originating out of the Warwick Police Department, and 2.) Affidavit and Arrest warrant on the charge of Obstructing a Police Officer in the Execution of Duty and Operating with a Suspended License - Fourth or Subsequent Offense originating out of North Providence Police Department. This arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Whitehall Street, in the City of Providence. Smith was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks and later turned over to the Warwick Police Department.
On Wednesday, May 27, 2026, at 1:30 AM, Troopers arrested Brian Hicks, age 34, of 110 High Street, Plainville, Massachusetts, for 1.) Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor and/or Drugs with a BAC .10 – .15 – First Offense (Phase I = .147, Phase II = .142). This arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 146 North, in the Town of Lincoln. Hicks was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks, arraigned and released pending a future date at the Third Division District Court.
