On Friday, May 29, 2026 at 2:12 PM, Troopers arrested Kyle A. Martins, age 31, of 63 Belmont Street, Pawtucket, Rhode Island for 1.) Reckless Driving and Other Offenses Against Public Safety – First Offense, 2.) Eluding Law Enforcement Vehicle in a High-Speed Pursuit – First Offense, and 3.) Duty to Stop for Accident Resulting in Damage to Vehicle. The arrest was the result of a Barracks investigation and subsequently taking Martins into custody at General Dynamics Electric Boat in the Town of North Kingstown. Martins was transported to the State Police – Wickford Barracks where he was processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, and released with a future Third District Court arraignment date.
On Friday, May 29, 2026 at 9:55 PM, Troopers arrested David Matriano, age 56, of 25 Horta Drive, West Warwick, Rhode Island for 1.) Driving Under the Influence of Liquor – BAC .15 or Greater – First Offense (Phase I: 0.165% & Phase II: .158%). The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on East Avenue in the City of Warwick. The subject was transported to the State Police Wickford Barracks where he was processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, and released with a notice to appear in Third District Court.
On Saturday, May 30, 2026 at 12:45 AM, Troopers arrested Aaron King, age 26, of 176 Young Street, East Hampton, Connecticut for 1.) Driving Under the Influence of Liquor – BAC Unknown – 1st Offense 2.) Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test – 1st Offense. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on East Avenue in the City of Warwick. The subject was transported to the State Police Wickford Barracks where he was processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, and released with a notice to appear in Third District Court.
