At 12:00 PM, Troopers arrested Edward Leftwich, age 49, of 295 Woonasquatucket Avenue, Apt. 10, North Providence, Rhode Island, for 1) Cyberstalking /Cyberharassment Prohibited, and 2) Disorderly Conduct. The arrest was the result of a barracks investigation by Trooper Z.V. Furtado and Troopers locating Mr. Leftwich at his residence. Leftwich was transported to the State Police - Lincoln Woods Barracks, where he was processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, and released with a notice to appear in Third Division District Court
At 12:43 AM, Troopers arrested Nicholas Resendes, age 31, of 4 Hemlock Street, Brockton, Massachusetts, for 1.) Driving While Under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor and/or Drugs – B.A.C. Unknown 1st Offense 2.) Refusal to Submit Chemical Test. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Union Avenue in the City of Providence. Resendes was transported to the State Police – Lincoln Woods Barracks, where he was processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, and released with a notice to appear in Sixth Division District Court.
