At 9:36 AM, Troopers arrested Austin Gomes, age 35, of 44 Clym Street, Providence, Rhode Island, on a Sixth District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear on the charge of Domestic Assault-Vandalism originating out of the Providence Police Department. This arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Orms Street in the City of Providence. Gomes was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks, where he was processed and later transported to Sixth District Court.
At 10:50 AM, Troopers arrested Andrew Lawrence, age 25, of 12 Gallatin Street, Providence, Rhode Island, for 1.) Manufacturing/Delivery/Possession with Intent to Manufacture / Deliver Scheduled I-II Controlled Substance (Marijuana) – 1st Offense and 2.) Driving With Suspended License – 4th Offense. This arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Orms Street in the City of Providence. Lawrence was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks where he was processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, and transported to the Adult Correctional Institute – Men's Intake Center where he was held as a Probation Violator.
At 12:26 AM, Troopers arrested Edy Giron Lopez, age 26, of 230 Webster Street, Providence, Rhode Island, for 1.) Driving Under the Influence of Liquor – First Offense – BAC Unknown and 2.) Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Breath Test – First Offense. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 6 in the City of Providence. Lopez was transported to the Lincoln Barracks where he was processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, and released into the custody of a responsible adult.
