At 12:20 a.m., Troopers arrested Tatana Mendez, age 22, of 12 Veazie Street, Apartment #1, Providence, Rhode Island for a Third District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Arraignment on the original charge of Driving with a Suspended/Revoked/Cancelled License originating out of the North Providence Police Department. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 138 in the Town of Jamestown. The subject was transported to the Wickford Barracks where she was processed and later transferred to the Adult Correctional Institute - Women's Intake Center.
