On June 17, 2026 at approximately 12:00 PM, members of the HIDTA Task Force arrested Austin Freelove, age 27, of 528 Charles Street, Apt. 1C, Providence for 1) Possession with the Intent to Deliver One Ounce to One Kilogram of a Schedule II Controlled Substance - Methamphetamine, 2) Possession with the Intent to Deliver a Schedule II Controlled Substance - Methamphetamine, 3) Possession with the Intent to Deliver a Schedule II Controlled Substance - Cocaine, and 4) Controlled Substance Conspiracy. The arrest was the result of the execution of search warrants at the conclusion of a narcotics investigation. Mr. Freelove was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks where he was processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace and transported to the ACI.

On June 17, 2026 at approximately 12:00 PM, members of the HIDTA Task Force arrested Shannon Freelove, age 43, of 594 Oaklawn Avenue, Apt. 2, Cranston for 1) Possession with the Intent to Deliver One Ounce to One Kilogram of a Schedule II Controlled Substance - Methamphetamine, 2) Possession with the Intent to Deliver a Schedule II Controlled Substance - Methamphetamine, 3) Possession with the Intent to Deliver a Schedule II Controlled Substance - Cocaine, and 4) Controlled Substance Conspiracy. The arrest was the result of the execution of search warrants at the conclusion of a narcotics investigation. Ms. Freelove was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks where she was processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace and transported to the ACI.

On June 17, 2026 at 2:00 PM, the Special Victims Unit, assisted by members of the Major Crimes Unit, Gaming Enforcement Unit, Tactical Team, Patrol Bureau, Federal Bureau of Investigation, and Naval Criminal Investigative Service, arrested Richard Lallier, age 34, of 254 Tremont Street, Rehoboth, Massachusetts for, 1.) Indecent Solicitation of a Minor, and 2.) Disseminating Indecent Material to a Minor. The arrest was the result of an investigation by the Special Victims Unit and Mr. Lallier being taken into custody at Lincoln Woods State Park. Mr. Lallier was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks and turned over to federal law enforcement.

On June 17, 2026 at 6:00 PM, the Special Victims Unit, assisted by members of the Major Crimes Unit, Gaming Enforcement Unit, Tactical Team, Patrol Bureau, Federal Bureau of Investigation, and Naval Criminal Investigative Service, arrested Joshua Lincoln, age 27, of 25 Wentworth Street, North Providence, Rhode Island for, 1.) Indecent Solicitation of a Minor, and 2.) Disseminating Indecent Material to a Minor. The arrest was the result of an investigation by the Special Victims Unit and Mr. Lincoln being taken into custody after a brief foot pursuit outside of his North Providence residence. Mr. Lincoln was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks, arraigned by the Justice of the Peace, and released.

On June 17, 2026 at 9:00 PM, the Special Victims Unit, assisted by members of the Major Crimes Unit, Gaming Enforcement Unit, Tactical Team, Patrol Bureau, Federal Bureau of Investigation, and Naval Criminal Investigative Service, arrested Jacob Palazzo, age 26, of 115 Curry Road, Cranston, Rhode Island for, 1.) Indecent Solicitation of a Minor. The arrest was the result of an investigation by the Special Victims Unit and Mr. Palazzo being taken into custody at Bally's Twin River Casino. Mr. Palazzo was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks, arraigned by the Justice of the Peace, and released.

On June 17, 2026 at 9:00 PM, the Special Victims Unit, assisted by members of the Major Crimes Unit, Gaming Enforcement Unit, Tactical Team, Patrol Bureau, Federal Bureau of Investigation, and Naval Criminal Investigative Service, arrested Franco Miccoli, age 60, of 1145 Hartford Avenue, Johnston, Rhode Island, for 1.) Procurement of Sexual Contact for a Fee. The arrest was the result of an investigation by the Special Victims Unit and Mr. Miccoli being taken into custody at Bally's Twin River Casino. Mr. Miccoli was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks, arraigned by the Justice of the Peace, and released.

On June 18, 2026, at approximately 4:45 AM, members of the HIDTA Task Force arrested Darien Valdera, age 28, of 74 Garfield Avenue, Warwick for 1) Possession With the Intent to Deliver One Ounce to One Kilogram of a Schedule II Controlled Substance – Fentanyl, 2) Possession With the Intent to Deliver A Schedule II Controlled Substance – Fentanyl, 3) Possession With the Intent to Deliver One Ounce to One Kilogram of a Schedule II Controlled Substance – Cocaine, 4) Possession With the Intent to Deliver A Schedule II Controlled Substance – Cocaine, 5) Possession of a Firearm While Committing a Controlled Substance Violation (2 counts), 6) Possession of a Firearm by Certain Persons Prohibited (2 counts), 7) Possession of a Stolen Firearm, and 8) Large Capacity Feeding Devices Prohibited (2 counts). This arrest was the result of the execution of a court-authorized search warrant at the conclusion of a narcotics investigation. Mr. Valdera was transported to the Lincoln Barracks for processing and to 3rd District Court for arraignment.
