On Thursday, June 18, 2026, at approximately 8:30 a.m., members of the Rhode Island Violent Fugitive Task Force, along with members of the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the New York City Police Department, arrested Antonio Jimenez, age 46, of 39 Sampson Avenue, North Providence, Rhode Island, as a Fugitive From Justice from the State of New York for Murder - First Degree. The arrest was the result of an investigation by the Violent Fugitive Task Force. Mr. Jimenez was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks and arraigned as a Fugitive from Justice at Sixth Division District Court.
