At 2:14 PM, Troopers arrested Justin Therrien, age 43, of 70 Bay Road Norton, Massachusetts on a Third District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Arraignment on the charge of Possession of a Schedule I-V Controlled Substance originating out of the North Providence Police Department. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Front Street in the City of Woonsocket. Therrien was transported to State Police-Headquarters, where he was processed and later transported to the Adult Correctional Institution - Men's Intake Center.
At 2:00 AM, Troopers arrested David Stridel, age 63, of 6 Tell Street, Warwick, Rhode Island for 1.) Duty to Stop for Accident Resulting in Damage to Attended Vehicle. The arrest was the result of a barracks investigation and the East Providence Police Department subsequently locating Stridel. The subject was transported to State Police – Headquarters where he was processed and held overnight pending morning arraignment by the Justice of the Peace.
