On June 23, 2026, members of the HIDTA Task Force arrested Jaymen Gilroy, age 26, of 5 McNiff Street, 1st Floor, West Warwick, for 1) Possession with the Intent to Deliver One Ounce to One Kilogram of a Schedule II Controlled Substance - Cocaine and 2) Possession with the Intent to Deliver a Schedule II Controlled Substance - Cocaine. Mr. Gilroy was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks where he was processed and transported to 3rd District Court for arraignment.
On Tuesday, June 23, 2026, members of the Rhode Island Violent Fugitive Task Force arrested Christopher De La Cruz, age 20, of 873 Atwells Avenue, Apartment 3, Providence, Rhode Island, for an Affidavit and Arrest Warrant out of the Providence Police Department for 1.) Felony Assault, 2.) Eluding, and 3.) Duty to Stop Accident Resulting in Personal Injury. Mr. De La Cruz was taken into custody without incident and turned over to members of the Providence Police Department on scene.
