At 10:30 AM, Troopers arrested James Kennedy, age 36, of 726 Washington Street, Coventry, Rhode Island for Reckless Driving and Other Offenses Against Public Safety – First Offense. The arrest was a result of a Motor Vehicle Stop on Tiogue Avenue, in the Town of Coventry. Mr. Kennedy was released from custody on scene and presented with a future Third District Division District Court summons.
At 11:37 p.m., Troopers arrested Dionis Sanchez Peralta, age 24, of 169 Park Avenue, Cranston, Rhode Island for a Third Division District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear - Hold Without Bail for Technical Violation on the original charge of Domestic Violence – Simple Assault originating out of the West Warwick Police Department. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Roberts Street in the Town of West Warwick. The subject was transported to the State Police – Hope Valley Barracks, where he was processed and later turned over to the Adult Correctional Institution – Men's Intake Center.
