At 3:30 PM, members of the Financial Crimes Unit arrested Gianni Souffranc, age 26, of 2400 Nostrand Avenue, #412, Brooklyn, New York, for 1.) twelve (12) counts of Identity Fraud, 2.) twelve (12) counts of Fraudulent Use of Credit Cards, 3.) two (2) counts of Bank Fraud, and 4.) twelve (12) counts of Obtaining Property by False Pretenses. This arrest was the result of an investigation by the Financial Crimes Unit, Mr. Souffranc's arrest by the White Plains, New York Police Department, and extradition to State Police Headquarters by the Rhode Island Sheriffs. Mr. Souffranc was arraigned by Justice of the Peace McCaffery, assigned $100,000 / surety bail, and admitted to Adult Correctional Institutions - Men's Intake Center.
