At 11:00 AM, Troopers arrested Rosa Martinez, age 34, of 38 Green Lane Road, Pawtucket, Rhode Island for 1.) Obtaining Property by False Pretenses/Personation > $10,000 2.) Fraudulently Obtain Public Assistance > $500 3.) Fraudulent Use of Food Stamps > $500 4.) Forgery and Counterfeiting 5.) Giving False Document to Agent, Employee, or Public Official. The arrest was the result of a barracks investigation, and the subject subsequently turned herself into the Rhode Island State Police-Wickford Barracks. The subject was processed and later transported to Third District Court pending arraignment.
At 12:17 AM, Troopers Veasna Neth, age 38, of 2 La Bonte Road, North Providence, Rhode Island on a Third District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Pretrial Conference on the original charge of Driving with Suspended License, originating out of the North Providence Police Department. The arrest was a result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 95 in the City of Warwick. Neth was transported to Wickford Barracks where he was processed, arraigned by the Justice of the Peace, and released after posting bail.
