On Wednesday, July 1, 2026, members of the Rhode Island Violent Fugitive Task Force, Violent Fugitive Apprehension Section (VFAS), and Framingham Police Department arrested Angel Ortiz, age 19, of 7 Interfaith Terrace #7D, Framingham, MA, as a Fugitive from Justice out of RI for an Affidavit and Arrest Warrant from the Providence Police Department for the following: 1.) Breaking and Entering, 2.)Assault with intent to commit a robbery, 3.) Assault with device similar to a firearm, 4.) Larceny of motor vehicle and 5.) Conspiracy. Mr. Ortiz was taken into custody without incident and turned over to members of the Framingham Police Department on scene for his appearance on the FFJ in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
