On Monday, July 6, 2026, at 6:30 PM, Troopers arrested James Semedo, age 40, of 33 Lonsdale Avenue, Apt. 2, Pawtucket, Rhode Island, for 1.) Simple Assault and/or Battery, 2.) Disorderly Conduct, and 3.) Refusal to Relinquish Telephone. This arrest was the result of a Barracks investigation and Semedo being located by the Cranston Police Department. Semedo was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks and held overnight pending arraignment/presentment as a probation violator at the Sixth Division District Court.
On Tuesday, July 7, 2026, at 5:51 AM, Troopers arrested Preston Guertin, age 21, of 27 Norton Street, Pawtucket, Rhode Island on an Affidavit and Arrest Warrant for 1.) Disorderly Conduct - Fighting/Tumultuous Behavior and 2.) Disorderly Conduct - Obstructing Street/Highway originating out of the Rhode Island State Police Lincoln Woods Barracks. This arrest was the result of a Barracks investigation and Guertin being located at his residence. Guertin was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks and held pending arraignment at the Sixth Division District Court.
