At 9:19 AM, Troopers arrested Jorge Hernandez, age 29, of 17 Balcom Street, Providence, Rhode Island for An Affidavit and Arrest Warrant Originating out of the State Police Headquarters for 1.) Reckless Driving and Other Offenses Against Public Safety – 1st Offense 2.) Eluding Law Enforcement Vehicle in a High-Speed Pursuit – 1st Offense 3) Obstructing an Officer in the Execution of Duty. The arrest was the result of a barracks investigation conducted by Trooper Reilly and a subsequent motor vehicle stop on Emerson Street, in the City of Providence. Hernandez was transported to the State Police Headquarters, where he was processed and transported to Sixth Division District Court.
