At 10:21PM, Troopers arrested Mark Chartier, age 56, of 29 River Drive, Johnston, Rhode Island, for Driving Under the Influence of Liquor BAC .15 or Greater – First Offense (Phase I: 0.172 and Phase II 0.170). The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 1 North, in the Town of North Kingstown. The subject was transported to the State Police – Wickford Barracks where he was processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, and released with a notice to appear in Third Division District Court.
At 10:53PM, Troopers arrested Jeffrey Ugarte, age 39, of 80 Summit Avenue, West Warwick, Rhode Island, for 1.) Driving Under the Influence of Liquor – BAC Unknown – First Offense and 2.) Refusal to Submit to Chemical Test – First Offense. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Quaker Lane, in the City of Warwick. The subject was transported to the State Police – Wickford Barracks where he was processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, and released with a notice to appear in Third Division District Court.
