On Sunday July 12, 2026 at 2:35 AM, Troopers arrested Adalberto Rodriguez, age 44, of 6 Pershing Road, Johnston, Rhode Island, for 1.) Driving Under the Influence of Liquor – BAC Unknown – First Offense; and 2.) Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test – First Offense. This arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Heath Street, in the City of Providence. Rodriguez was processed at State Police Headquarters, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, and released into the custody of a responsible adult.
On Sunday July 12, 2026, at 4:12 AM, Troopers arrested Jovante C. Palin, age 29, of 11 Ashton Street, Apartment 3, Pawtucket, Rhode Island, for 1.) License or Permit Required for Carrying a Pistol, 2.) Alteration of Marks of Identification on Firearms, 3.) Carrying a Weapon While Under the Influence of Liquor or Drugs, 4.) Large Capacity Feeding Devices Prohibited, 5.) Driving Under the Influence of Liquor – BAC Unknown – First Offense, and 6.) Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test – First Offense. This arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Mineral Spring Avenue, in the Town of North Providence. Palin was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, and transported to the Adult Correctional Institutions Men's Intake Service Center.
