On Thursday, July 16, 2026 at 6:30 AM, Troopers arrested Deshawn Reid, age 36, of 338 S 4th Street, Mount Vernon, New York, as a Fugitive from Justice from the State of Texas on the original charge of Larceny – Theft Property Greater than $2500 originating out of the Fort Bend County Sherriff's Office. The arrest was the result of a Commercial Enforcement Inspection on Route 95 in the City of Warwick. Reid was transported to the State Police Wickford Barracks, where he was processed and later turned over to Third District Court for arraignment.
