On Monday, July 20, 2026, at 10:04 AM, Troopers arrested Jesse Boulais, age 39, of 1105 Iron Mine Road, North Smithfield, Rhode Island for a Third Division Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Pre-Trial Conference on the original charge of Driving with Expired License originating out of the State Police Hope Valley Barracks. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Main Street in the Town of Richmond. The subject was transported to the State Police Hope Valley Barracks, processed, and transported to Third Division Court.
On Monday, July 20, 2026, at 3:30 PM, Troopers arrested Donte Thornhill, age 29, of 42 Cross Street Apt. #2, Westerly, Rhode Island as a Fugitive from Justice for Child Neglect Causing Death originating out of the Berkely County Sheriff's Office in West Virginia. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 95 South in the Town of Richmond. Thornhill was transported to the State Police Hope Valley Barracks where he was processed, arraigned by the Justice of the Peace and later transported to the Adult Correctional Institution-Men's Intake Center pending morning arraignment.
