At 6:30 PM, Troopers arrested Jared Smith, age 40, of 17 Greenfield Avenue, North Providence, Rhode Island for 1.) Larceny - Greater than $5,000 and less than $10,000, 2.) Conspiracy – Felony Less than 5 Years, 3.) Vandalism, 4.) Conspiracy – Misdemeanor (Two Counts), and 5.) Injury to Public Property – Greater than $100. The arrest was the result of a Barracks investigation conducted by Troopers and the Providence Police Department locating Smith. Smith was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks where he was processed and held overnight as a bail violator pending arraignment at Third Division District Court.
At 7:30 PM, Troopers arrested Ayomide Onajide, age 25, of 30 Howard Avenue, Cranston, Rhode Island, for 1.) Affidavit and Arrest Warrant for Simple Assault and/or Battery originating out of the State Police – Lincoln Woods Barracks. The arrest was a result of Troopers responding to a disturbance at Harrington Hall located at 30 Howard Avenue in the City of Cranston, and subsequent investigation. Onajide was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks, where he was processed, and held overnight as a bail violator pending arraignment at Third Division District Court.
At 3:54 AM, Troopers arrested Jose Caraballo age 50, of 34 Prosser Trail, Unit 209, Charlestown, Rhode Island for Possession of Schedule I to V- Under 10 Grams (Fentanyl). The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Anthony Avenue in the City of Providence. Caraballo was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks, processed and held overnight as a probation violator pending arraignment at Sixth Division District Court.
