On July 22, 2026, members of the Auto Theft Task Force and ACI Investigations Unit arrested Justin Broccoli, age 42, of 7 Remington Farm Drive, Coventry, Rhode Island, for 1) Insurance Fraud (12 Counts); 2) Embezzlement (12 Counts); 3) Computer Access (12 Counts). Subject was transported to Rhode Island State Police Headquarters where he was processed then turned over to Third Division District Court for arraignment.
On July 22, 2026, the ACI Investigations Unit charged Oladapo Disu, age 28, with last known address of 592 Weeden Street, Pawtucket, Rhode Island for 1.) Simple Assault. Mr. Disu was arraigned at Third Division District Court where he was granted $1,000 personal recognizance and remanded to the ACI. On July 22, 2026, the ACI Investigations Unit charged Charles Kenner, age 32, with last known address of 480 High Street, South Kingston, Rhode Island for 1.) Simple Assault. Mr. Kenner was arraigned at Third Division District Court where he was granted $1,000 personal recognizance and remanded to the ACI. On July 22, 2026, the ACI Investigations Unit charged Scott Douglass, age 38, with last known address of 223 Front Street, Woonsocket, Rhode Island, as a Fugitive of Justice from the State of Massachusetts. Mr. Douglass was arraigned at Third Division District Court where he waived extradition proceedings and was remanded into the custody of the Sherriff's Department pending his return to Massachusetts.

Possession of Controlled Substance Less than 10 Grams. Mr. Perez was arraigned at Third Division District Court where he was granted $3,000 surety bail and remanded to the ACI. On July 22, 2026, the ACI Investigations Unit charged Tykendu Richardson, age 26, with last known address of 1357 Eastern Parkway, Brookyln, New York as a Fugitive of Justice from the State of New Jersey. Mr. Richardson was arraigned at Third Division District Court where he waived extradition Richardson and was remanded into the custody of the Sherriff's Department pending his return to New Jersey.
