LOCATION: Lincoln
On July 23, 2026, at approximately 5:00AM, members of the HIDTA Task Force and FBI Safe Street Task Force arrested Jorge Diaz Carrasco, age 37, of 13 Mount Avenue Lincoln, Rhode Island for 1) Possession with the Intent to Deliver One Ounce to One Kilogram of a Schedule I/II Controlled Substance - Fentanyl and 2) Possession with the Intent to Deliver a Schedule I/II Controlled Substance - Fentanyl. The arrest is the result of search warrants executed at the conclusion of a narcotics investigation. Mr. Carrasco was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks where he was processed and transported to 3rd District Court for arraignment.
LOCATION: Warwick
On Thursday, July 23, 2026, at approximately 6:30 AM, members of the Rhode Island Violent Fugitive Task Force arrested Matthew Theberge, age 31, of 92 Dryden Boulevard, Warwick, Rhode Island for an Affidavit and Arrest Warrant out of the Warwick Police Department for 1.) Domestic Assault - Third Offense, 2.) Domestic Violation of No Contact Order - Third Offense and 3.) Domestic Vandalism - Third Offense. The arrest was the result of an investigation by the Violent Fugitive Task Force. Mr. Theberge was taken into custody without incident and turned over to members of the Warwick Police Department.
