At 4:00 PM, Troopers arrested Dekeya Grandy, age 34, of 23 Fiume Street, Apartment #A, West Warwick, Rhode Island, for 1.) Obtaining Property by False Pretenses/Personation > $10,000, 2.) Access to Computer for Fraudulent Purposes, and 3.) Fraudulently Obtain Public Assistance > $500. The arrest was the result of a barracks investigation and the subject turning herself in at State Police Headquarters. The subject was processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, and released with a notice to appear in Third Division District Court.
