On Wednesday, August 5, 2026, at 11:45 PM, Troopers arrested Lynn Sousa, age 47, of 2227 Patriot Way, West Greenwich, Rhode Island for 1.) Driving Under the Influence of Liquor – B. A. C. Unknown – Second Offense and 2.) Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test – First Offense. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 95 in the Town of East Greenwich. The subject was transported to the State Police – Hope Valley Barracks, where she was processed, and later transported State Police – Headquarters to be held overnight before being presented at Third Division District Court in the morning as a Bail and Probation Violator.
