At 4:15 PM, Troopers arrested Kayla Gilbert, age 39, of 45 Knollwood Drive, Woonsocket, Rhode Island on a 1.) Providence County Superior Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Determination of Attorney on the initial charge of Possession of a Schedule I-V Controlled Substance originating out of the Lincoln Police Department and 2.) Providence County Superior Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Pre Arraignment Conference on the initial charge of Possession of a Schedule I-V Controlled Substance originating out of the Woonsocket Police Department. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Arnold Street in the City of Woonsocket. The subject was transported to State Police Headquarters where she was processed and later transported to the Adult Correctional Institution - Women's Intake Center.
At 3:03 AM, Troopers arrested Johan Polanco, age 26, of 42 Madison Street, Providence, Rhode Island for 1.) Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor and/or Drugs – B.A.C. Unknown – First Offense; and 2.) Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test – First Offense. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Cranston Street in the City of Cranston. The subject was transported to State Police Headquarters, where he was processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace and released to the custody of a responsible adult.
