On Friday, August 7, 2026 at 9:00 AM Troopers out of the Hope Valley Barracks arrested Belinda Gauvin, age 58, of 490 South County Trail, Exeter Rhode Island for 1.) Domestic Violence- Simple assault and/or battery – 1st offense 2.) Domestic Violence- Disorderly Conduct 3.) Injury to Public Property 4.) Obstructing an Officer in the Execution of Duty. The arrest was the result of Troopers responding to a disturbance at 480 South County trail in the Town of Exeter. The subject was transported to the Hope Valley Barracks, processed then transported to Fourth Division District Court for arraignment.
