At 9:35 PM, Troopers Daniella Ciampanelli, age 38, of 155 Cottage Street, Warwick, Rhode Island for 1.) Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor and/or Drugs - BAC Unknown - First Offense and 2.) Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test - Second Offense. This arrest was the result of Troopers responding to reports of an erratic operator on Route 95 North in the City of Warwick. Ciampanelli was transported to Kent Hospital for an evaluation, transported to the State Police Wickford Barracks, arraigned, and released to a responsible adult.
At 12:15 AM, Troopers arrested Shawn O'Malley, age 36, of 1 Jude Street, Middletown, Rhode Island, on a Family Court Domestic Reciprocal Body Attachment Bench Warrant. This arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on West Main Road, Middletown, Rhode Island. O'Malley was transported to the State Police Wickford Barracks, processed, and transported to the Adult Correctional Institution - Men's Intake.
