At 2:30 PM, Troopers arrested Gustavo A. Blanco De La Ossa, age 32, of 52 Slade Street, 1st Floor, Pawtucket, RI, for a 6th District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Pre- Trial Conference on the original charge of Domestic Violence – Simple Assault originating from the Central Falls Police Department. This arrest was the result of Troopers responding to a motor vehicle accident on Route 6 in the City of Providence. De La Ossa was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks, where he was processed and later transported to the Adult Correctional Institution-Men's Intake Service Center.
At 11:39 PM, Troopers arrested John Rodriguez, age 21, of 83 Grand Avenue, Cranston, Rhode Island, for 1.) Domestic Violence - Simple Assault and 2.) Domestic Violence - Disorderly Conduct. The arrest was the result of Troopers responding to a report of a disturbance on Route 95 South in the City of Warwick and subsequently locating the party at his residence. Rodriguez was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks, where he was processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, and released with a future Third Division District Court date.
