LOCATION: PAWTUCKET
At 8:30 AM, the Special Victims Unit with the assistance of the Major Crimes Unit arrested Dario Castro, age 35, of 222 Evergreen Street, Pawtucket, Rhode Island, for Second Degree Child Molestation. The arrest was the result of an investigation by the Special Victims Unit and Mr. Castro being located at his residence. Mr. Castro was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks, processed, and arraigned in Sixth Division District Court. L LOCATION: PROVIDENCE
At 9:30 AM, the Special Victims Unit with the assistance of the Major Crimes Unit arrested Marc Taylor, age 57, of 406 Branch Avenue, Providence, Rhode Island, for a Sixth Division District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Arraignment on the original charge of Obstruction, originating out of the State Police Lincoln Woods Barracks. The arrest was the result of an investigation by the Special Victims Unit and Mr. Taylor being located at his residence. Mr. Taylor was transported to State Police Headquarters, processed, and arraigned in Sixth Division District Court.
LOCATION: PROVIDENCE
On Wednesday, August 12, 2026, at approximately 12:15 PM, members of the Rhode Island Violent Fugitive Task Force arrested Emanuel K. Costa Jenkins, age 21, LKA of 22 Brookfield Street, Providence, Rhode Island, for the following: 1.) Possession of a Firearm by a Prohibited Person, 2.) Possession of Schedule I-V Controlled Substance (10 grams or less), and 3.) Affidavit and Arrest Warrant from the Pawtucket Police Department for Felony Assault, Assault with a Deadly Weapon and Conspiracy. The arrest was the result of an investigation by the Violent Fugitive Task Force. Mr. Costa Jenkins was taken into custody without incident, processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks and turned over to members of the Pawtucket Police Department.
