At 3:56 PM, Troopers arrested David Smith, age 23, of 1455 Mineral Spring Avenue, North Providence, Rhode Island for 1.) Violation of a No Contact Order - 2nd Offense 2.) Driving with a Suspended/Revoked/Cancelled License - 4th Offense. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Warwick Avenue, in the City of Warwick. The subject was transported to the Wickford Barracks where he was processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace and transferred to the ACI-Men's Intake Center to await Monday morning arraignment where he will be presented as a bail and probation violator.
At 11:23 PM, Troopers arrested Jonathan Doyle, age 54, of 17 John J Swanezy Road, Attleboro Falls, Massachusetts for 1.) Driving Under the Influence of Liquor – BAC Unknown – First Offense, 2.) Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test – First Offense, 3.) Reckless Driving and Other Offenses Against Public Safety – 2nd Offense, and 4.) Eluding Law Enforcement Vehicle in a High-Speed Pursuit – 1st Offense. The arrest was the result of an attempted motor vehicle stop and subsequent motor vehicle collision on Route 95 in the Town of West Warwick. The subject was transported to Kent Hospital for evaluation and later transported to the State Police Wickford Barracks where he was processed, arraigned by the Justice of the Peace, and released into the custody of a responsible adult with future Third district Court arraignment date.
At 12:43 AM, Troopers arrested Atticus Emanuel Edwards, age 20, of 66 Burnett Street, Providence, RI for 1.) Kent County Superior Court Bench Warrant for Failure to appear for arraignment on the original charge of Felony Assault and/or Battery originating out of the Warwick Police Department, 2.) Reckless Driving and Other Offenses Against Public Safety – 1st Offense, and 3.) Obstruction of Officer in Execution of Duty. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 10 in the City of Cranston. The subject was transported to the State Police Wickford Barracks where he was processed and arraigned by the Justice of the Peace and later transported to the ACI – Men's Intake Center.
At 12:43 AM, Troopers arrested Daniel Gonzalez, age 20, of 708 Academy Avenue, Providence, RI for 1.) Obstruction of Officer in Execution of Duty. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 10 in the City of Cranston. The subject was transported to the State Police Wickford Barracks where he was processed, arraigned by the Justice of the Peace, and issued a future Third District Court arraignment date.
