On Wednesday, August 19, 2026, at 5:18 PM, Troopers arrested John Rocha, age 43, of 7A Glen Road, Cranston, Rhode Island, for an Affidavit and Arrest Warrant on the charges of 1.) Obtaining Property by False Pretenses/Personation - Over $10,000, and 2.) Access to Computer for Fraudulent Purposes. This arrest was the result of an investigation conducted by members of the Hope Valley Barracks and Rocha subsequently being taken into custody by the Cranston Police Department. Rocha was transported to the Hope Valley Barracks where he was processed, arraigned by the Justice of the Peace, and released with a future Third Division District Court Date.
