At 10:03 p.m., Troopers arrested Alexander J. Castro, age 27, of 40 Homestead Avenue, Apartment 1, Providence, Rhode Island, for Driving After Suspension of License – Fourth Offense. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Branch Avenue, in the City of Providence. The subject was transported to the State Police – Lincoln Woods Barracks, where he was processed, and held pending morning arraignment, where he will be presented as a bail violator.
At 1:39 a.m., Troopers arrested Juan Torres, age 41, of 10 George Street, Pawtucket, Rhode Island, on a Providence County Family Court Reciprocal Body Attachment for Non-Support. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Potters Avenue, in the City of Providence. The subject was transported to the State Police – Lincoln Woods Barracks, where he was processed, and transported to the Adult Correctional Institution – Men's Intake.
At 3:12 a.m., Troopers arrested Sammy Hazard, age 20, of 41 Kossuth Street, Pawtucket, Rhode Island, on an Affidavit and Arrest Warrant issued by the State Police – Lincoln Woods Barracks for 1.) Eluding Law Enforcement Vehicle in a High-Speed Pursuit – First Offense, 2.) Reckless Driving and Other Offenses Against Public Safety – First Offense, and 3.) Driving After Suspension of License – Fourth Offense. The arrest was a result of a barracks investigation, and the subject being located during a motor vehicle stop on Branch Avenue, in the City of Providence. The subject was transported to the State Police – Lincoln Woods Barracks, where he was processed, and held pending morning arraignment, where he will be presented as a probation violator.
