On August 19, 2026, members of the HIDTA Task Force arrested Christopher Pescatore, age 33, of 75 Sagamore Street, Warwick, Rhode Island for 1.) Possession with Intent to Distribute One Ounce to One Kilogram of a Schedule II Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine), 2.) Possession with Intent to Distribute a Schedule II Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine), 3) Possession with Intent to Distribute a Schedule II Controlled Substance (Cocaine). The arrest was the result of the execution of search warrants at the conclusion of a narcotics investigation. Mr. Pescatore was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks and turned over to 3rd District Court for arraignment.
On August 20, 2026 at approximately 1:45 PM, members of the HIDTA Task Force and DEA Providence Office arrested Cristopher Alexander Suarez Guzman, age 29, of 209 Boylston Street, Apartment 3, Boston, MA for 1) Possession with Intent to Deliver a Schedule II Controlled Substance (fentanyl) to an Undercover Police Officer (2 counts), 2) Possession with Intent to Deliver over 1 Kilogram of a Schedule II Controlled Substance (fentanyl), 3) Possession with Intent to Deliver a Schedule II Controlled Substance (fentanyl). The arrest was the result of a narcotics investigation. Mr. Guzman was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks where he was processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace and transported to the ACI Intake facility pending his morning arraignment at 6th District Court.
On Friday, August 21, 2026, at approximately 6:00 AM, members of the New York New Jersey Regional Fugitive Task Force, with the assistance of the Rhode Island Violent Fugitive Task Force, arrested Isaac J. Rosario, age 21, LKA of 131 McGaulley Avenue, Plattsburgh, New York for the following: 1.) Providence Superior Court 46G Bail Violation Warrant for the original charges of Carrying a Firearm, Domestic Felony Assault, Assault on a Correctional Officer, Credit Card Fraud, and 2.) Affidavit and Arrest Warrant from the East Providence Police Department for Eluding. The arrest was the result of an investigation by the Violent Fugitive Task Force and subsequent collateral lead that was sent to the New York New Jersey Regional Fugitive Task Force. Mr. Rosario was taken into custody without incident and turned over to the Clinton County Courthouse, in the State of New York, where he was presented as a Fugitive From Justice from the State of Rhode Island.
On Friday, August 21, 2026, at approximately 6:00 AM, members of the Rhode Island Violent Fugitive Task Force and the Providence Police Department Intelligence Unit arrested Felix Fernandez, age 35, LKA of 10 Padelford Street, Providence, Rhode Island, for an Affidavit and Arrest Warrant from the Providence Police Department for the following: 1.) Felony Assault, 2.) Using a Firearm to Commit a Crime of Violence, 3.) Carrying a Pistol Without a License, 4.) Firing in a Compact Area, and 5.) Disorderly Conduct. The arrest was the result of an investigation by the Violent Fugitive Task Force. Mr. Fernandez was taken into custody without incident and turned over to members of the Providence Police Department on scene.
On Saturday, August 22, 2026, at 6:00 AM, the Gaming Enforcement Unit, with the assistance of the Lincoln Woods Barracks, arrested Adriana Cossio, age 56, of 139 Pond Street, Pawtucket, Rhode Island for 1.) Casino Gaming - Cheat to Take or Collect Anything of Value, 2.) Access to Computer for Fraudulent Purposes, and 3. Obtaining Property by False Pretenses Under $1,500 (2 counts). The arrest was the result of a Gaming Enforcement Unit investigation for an incident that occurred at Bally's Twin River Casino on July 7, 2026 and securing an arrest warrant for Ms. Cossio. Ms. Cossio was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks, arraigned by Justice of the Peace Crawford and released on $10,000 personal recognizance.
