At 3:40 PM, Troopers arrested Kerron Evans, age 48, of 436 Water Street, New Shoreham, Rhode Island, for 1.) Felony Assault and/or Battery (2 Counts). The arrest was the result of Troopers responding to a disturbance on Weldon's Way in the Town of New Shoreham. The subject was transported to the New Shoreham Police Station where he was processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, and released with a notice to appear in Fourth District Court.
At 1:30 AM, Troopers arrested Samantha Cosper, age 29, of 108 Van Zandt Avenue, Warwick, Rhode Island, for 1.) Driving with Suspended/Revoked/Cancelled License – Fourth or Subsequent Offense. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Glenn Drive in the Town of West Warwick. The subject was transported to the Hope Valley Barracks where she was processed and held overnight as a probation violator pending a Third Division District Court arraignment date.
