At 3:02 PM, Troopers arrested Damien Smith, age 33, of 11 Covell Street, Providence, Rhode Island for 1.) Obstructing an Officer in Execution of Duty, and 2.) Providence Superior Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Arraignment on the Original Charge of Possession of a Stolen Motor Vehicle, originating out of the Central Falls Police Department. The arrest was the result of an attempted motor vehicle stop on Douglas Avenue in the City of Providence. Mr. Smith was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks where he was processed, held as a probation violator, and later transported to the Adult Correctional Institution- Men's Intake Center. At 3:24 PM, Troopers arrested Kshaun Mclean, age 20, of 118 Crown Avenue, Riverside, Rhode Island, for 1.) Receiving Stolen Goods. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on North Main Street in the City of Providence. Mr. Mclean was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks where he was processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, and later released. At 12:46 AM, Troopers arrested Bailey Kenny, age 36, of 198 Harrison Street, Providence, Rhode Island for 1.) Carry Pistol or Revolver Without License or Permit 2.) Possession of a Stolen Firearm 3.) Possession of a Firearm Prohibited Person Convicted of Crime of Violence. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Smithfield Avenue, in the City of Pawtucket. The subject was transported to the State Police – Lincoln Woods Barracks where he was processed, arraigned by the Justice of the Peace, and released pending a future Sixth Division District Court date. At 2:05 AM, Troopers arrested Diaemond Vargas Diaz, age 32, of 48 June Street, Providence, Rhode Island, on a Sixth Division District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Status Conference on the original charge of 1.) Fugitive From Justice originating out of the Providence Police Department. The subject was transported to the State Police – Lincoln Woods Barracks where she was processed and later transported to the Adult Correctional Institution – Women's Intake Center.
