At 11:05 AM, Troopers arrested Jonathan Lopez Cabrera, age 19, of 208 Home Avenue, Providence, Rhode Island for Reckless Driving and Other Offenses Against Public Safety – First Offense. This was a result of a Motor Vehicle Accident on Route 146 and subsequent investigation. Lopez Cabrera was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks, later arraigned by a Justice of Peace and released.
At 12:50 PM, Troopers arrested George Andrews age 48 of 1299 Main Road, Tiverton, Rhode Island for an Affidavit Arrest Warrant for Leaving the Scene of an Accident to an Attended Motor Vehicle. The arrest was a result of a barracks investigation and the subject being located by the Woonsocket Police Department. Andrews was transported to Lincoln Woods Barracks where he was processed and later transported to Sixth District Court for arraignment.
At 8:29 PM, Troopers arrested Michael Demers, age 47, of 102 Dixon Street, Unit 7, Providence, Rhode Island for Reckless Driving and Other Offenses Against Public Safety – First Offense. This arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 95 South, in the City of Providence. Demers was transported to the Lincoln Barracks, where he was processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, and released with a notice to appear in Sixth Division District Court.
