LOCATION: NORTH SCITUATE
On Wednesday, August 26, 2026, at 11:15 AM, members of the Special Victims Unit arrested Brunilda N. Johnson, age 57, of 162 Bourden Street, Apartment # 162BB, Woonsocket, Rhode Island, for Obstructing an Officer in Execution of his Duty. The arrest was the result of an investigation conducted by members of the Special Victims Unit. Ms. Johnson was processed at State Police Headquarters and transported to Third Division District Court for arraignment.
LOCATION: WARWICK
At 2:30 p.m., members of the Financial Crimes Unit arrested Luciano Oliveira, age 51, of 5 Hemlock Lane, Milford, Massachusetts for 1.) Obtaining Property by False Pretenses and 2.) Giving False Documents to a Public Official. This arrest was the result of an investigation by the Financial Crimes Unit, and Detectives taking Mr. Oliveira into custody in the City of Warwick. Mr. Oliveira was transported to State Police Headquarters, processed, arraigned by Justice of the Peace Crawford, and released on $10,000/personal recognizance.
