LOCATION: WRENTHAM, MASSACHUSETTS
On Thursday, August 27, 2026, at approximately 1:30 PM, members of the Massachusetts State Police Violent Fugitive Apprehension Section along with the Rhode Island Violent Fugitive Task Force arrested Eric Ethier, age 47, LKA of 130 Gilmore Road, Wrentham Massachusetts, for an Affidavit and Arrest Warrant out of the Warwick Police Department for First Degree Child Molestation. The arrest was the result of an investigation by the Rhode Island Violent Fugitive Task Force. Mr. Ethier was taken into custody without incident and turned over to members of the Massachusetts State Police pending his presentation as a Fugitive from Justice from the State of Rhode Island.
LOCATION: PROVIDENCE
On August 27, 2026, at 8:30 PM, members of the HIDTA Task Force arrested Andre Hazard, age 41, of 448 Prairie Avenue, Apt. 2, Providence for 1) Possession of One Ounce to One Kilogram of a Schedule II Controlled Substance - Crack Cocaine and 2) Possession with Intent to Deliver a Schedule II Controlled Substance - Crack Cocaine. The arrest was the result of search warrants conducted at the conclusion of a narcotics investigation. Mr. Hazard was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks where he was processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, and transported to the ACI Intake facility pending his morning arraignment at 6th District Court.
