At 3:11 p.m., Troopers arrested Justin Araujo, age 38, of 192 Gladstone Street, Apt. 1, Cranston, Rhode Island, for 1.) Superior Court Full Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Restitution Review on the original charge of Receiving Stolen Goods originating out of the North Providence Police Department, and 2.) Superior Court Full Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Restitution Review on the original charge of Possession of a Stolen vehicle originating out of the Johnston Police Department. The arrest was the result of a pedestrian stop on Charles Street in the City of Providence. Araujo was processed at the State Police - Lincoln Woods Barracks and later turned over to the Adult Correctional Institute - Men's Intake.
At 9:34 p.m., Troopers arrested Kevin Migna, age 67, of 397 Orms Street, Apartment #3, Providence, Rhode Island, for 1.) Driving Under the Influence of Liquor – Resulting in Serious Bodily Injury – First Offense, 2.) Driving Under the Influence of Liquor – BAC .15 or Greater – First Offense (Phase I: 0.153% & Phase II: 0.152%), 3.) Reckless Driving and Other Offenses Against Public Safety – First Offense. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle accident investigation involving a wrong-way driver on Route 146 in the Town of Lincoln. Migna was processed at the State Police – Lincoln Woods Barracks, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, and released with a notice to appear in Third Division District Court.
At 4:24 a.m., Troopers arrested Askari V. Stefanidis, age 18, of 73 Central Street, Warwick, Rhode Island, for 1.) Reckless Driving and Other Offenses Against Public Safety – First Offense. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 295 in the Town of Johnston. Stefanidis was processed at the State Police – Lincoln Woods Barracks, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, and released with a notice to appear in Sixth Division District Court.
