At 8:10 AM, Troopers arrested Eliecer Ortiz, age 46, of 1239 Hill Farm Rd, Coventry, Rhode Island, for Forgery and Counterfeiting of Registration Plates. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Reservoir Avenue in the City of Cranston. Ortiz was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, held on a Rhode Island Parole Board Detention Warrant, and transported to the Adult Correctional Institutions Men's Intake Center.
At 9:45 AM, Troopers arrested Eddmanuel Rodriguez, age 43, of 26 Lamphear St. Apt. 5, Coventry, Rhode Island, on an Affidavit and Arrest Warrant for 1.) Vandalism, and 2.) Disorderly Conduct. The arrest was the result of a Lincoln Woods Barracks investigation, and Troopers locating Rodriguez at his residence in Coventry. Rodriguez was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, and released with a notice to appear in Sixth Division District Court.
At 6:10 PM, Troopers arrested Stephanie Taveras, age 35, of 36 Hedley Avenue. Apt. 3, Central Falls, Rhode Island, for Driving After Suspension of License – Fourth or Subsequent Offense. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 6 in the City of Providence. Taveras was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace and turned over to the Adult Correctional Institution – Women's Intake Center where she was held as a bail violator.
At 12:40 AM, Troopers arrested Nilton Santos, age 52, of 161 Warren Avenue, Pawtucket, Rhode Island, for 1.) Driving Under the Influence of Liquor – BAC Unknown – First Offense, 2.) Refusal to Submit to Chemical Test – First Offense, and 3.) Sixth District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Arraignment on the original charge of Driving with Suspended License originating out of the Pawtucket Police Department. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on School Street in the City of Pawtucket. Santos was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, and released with a notice to appear in Sixth Division District Court.
