On Monday August 31, 2026 at 9:39 AM, Troopers arrested Ronald Maria Disla, age 18, of 9 Sackett Street, Providence, Rhode Island, on a Sixth Division District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Arraignment on the original charge of Obstructing Officer in Execution of Duty originating out of the State Police Traffic Safety Unit. This arrest was the result of Troopers responding to the Rhode Island Traffic Tribunal in the City of Cranston and assisting the RI Capitol Police. Maria Disla was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks and transported to Sixth Division District Court for arraignment.
On Monday August 31, 2026 at 10:30 AM Troopers arrested Jamel Ruiz, age 20, of 21 Appleton Street, Providence, Rhode Island, for an Affidavit and Arrest Warrant for Reckless Driving and Other Offenses Against Public Safety 1st Offense originating out of the State Police Lincoln Woods Barracks. This arrest was the result of a Barracks investigation and Ruiz responding to the Lincoln Woods Barracks and turning himself in. Ruiz was processed and transported to Sixth Division District Court for arraignment.
On Monday August 31, 2026 at 11:30 AM Troopers arrested Giovanni Broccoli, age 46, of 115 First Avenue, Cranston, Rhode Island, for two Superior Court Bench Warrants for Failure to Appear for Restitution review originating out of the Providence Police Department. This arrest was the result of a pedestrian contact conducted by Trooper Giorgio on Huntington Avenue in the City of Providence. Broccoli was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks and transported to Superior Court for arraignment.
On Monday August 31, 2026 at 10:05 PM Troopers arrested Anthony Lafrancis, age 38, of 2 Robbins Lane, Rocky Hill, Connecticut for 1.) Carry Pistol or Revolver Without License or Permit, 2.) Possession of a Schedule I to V Controlled Substance 10 Grams or Less (Cocaine), 3.) Possession of a Schedule I to V Controlled Substance 10 Grams or Less (Psilocybin), 4.) Weapons Other Than Firearms Prohibited (2 Counts), and 5.) Large Capacity Feeding Device. This arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 10 in the City of Cranston. Lafrancis was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks, specially arraigned by the Justice of the Peace, and released with a future Third Division District Court arraignment date.
On Monday August 31, 2026 at 11:33 PM Troopers arrested Dennis Bautista, age 61, of 2426 Post Road Apartment #102, Warwick, Rhode Island, for an Affidavit and Arrest Warrant for Breaking and Entering originating out of the Smithfield Police Department. This arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Elmwood Avenue in the City of Providence. Bautista was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks and turned over to the Smithfield Police Department.
On Tuesday September 1, 2026 at 3:03 AM, Troopers arrested Khalil Bell, age 47, of 210 Park Street, New Bedford, Rhode Island, on a Providence Superior Court Full Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Arraignment on the original charge of Unlawful Breaking and Entering originating out of the Foster Police Department. This arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on North Main Street in the City of Providence. Bell was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks and turned over to the Adult Correctional Institutions Men's Intake Center.
