LOCATION: PROVIDENCE
On September 3, 2026, at 7:45 AM, the State Police Special Victims Unit with the assistance of the Violent Fugitive Task Force and Lincoln Woods Barracks arrested Chanel Jordan, age 29, of 169 Angel Street, Providence, Rhode Island, for Harboring a Criminal. The arrest was the result of an investigation by the Special Victims Unit and Ms. Jordan being located at her residence. Ms. Jordan was processed at State Police Headquarters and transported to Sixth Division District Court for arraignment.
LOCATION: NORTH SCITUATE
On Thursday, September 3, 2026, at 2:57 PM, members of the Special Victims Unit arrested Rachel E. Benoit, age 45, of 480 High Street, Apartment #A6, South Kingstown, Rhode Island, for Child Endangerment (4 counts). The arrest was the result of an investigation conducted by members of the Special Victims Unit. Ms. Benoit was processed at State Police Headquarters, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, and released from custody pending a future appearance at Fourth Division District Court.
